Verda was nominated by Sarah Williams for her hard work in the creation of the Derivatives Risk Management Program for mutual funds.

Verda’s leadership helped set up new processes, models, and reporting to ensure Guardian’s mutual funds complied with a new SEC rule. In addition, Verda built a new margin model that enabled the company to deploy additional monies to the Investments team, ultimately enhancing Guardian’s investment income.

Outside of work, Verda is active in cycling, hiking, and travel. She can often be found riding her bike in Prospect Park near her home in Brooklyn or visiting a music event or museum in New York City.
